Places in Germany Tourists Can Visit With the €49 Ticket, According to TikTokers
The newly launched ticket, also known as the Deutschlandticket, aims to make public transport more attractive for everyone and to also provide financial relief amid the sharp increase in prices.
Just like the name suggests, the ticket costs €49 per month, and it is available as a digital subscription that can be cancelled at the end of the month.
This means that all tourists who plan to visit Germany and reach different parts of the country on a budget can purchase the €49 ticket and then cancel their subscription when they leave Germany, AtoZSerwisPlus.de reports.
The ticket is renewed automatically, so everyone is advised to make sure they have cancelled their subscription once they leave the country to avoid being charged.
All foreign tourists that purchase the €49 ticket will be able to use it on buses as well as trains operating in short and medium distances. On the other hand, the ticket cannot be used on long-distance transport and journeys in first class as they are excluded from the offer.
